- The Regional meet is on Tuesday, October 13th at 10:30 a.m. Top 30 finishers and the top 4 members of the medaling teams in each race will advance to the District Final on October 20 (10:30 a.m. start).
- All meets take place at Fort Henry Hill. Parents and Guardians are permitted to come and cheer on our athletes and our team. Parking is only permitted in the upper or lower parking lots - absolutely NO parking on the hill/side of the road or the grass (cars will be ticketed and/or towed)
- Atoms (born in 2017 or 2018) run approximately 2.0 km; Bantams (born in 2015 or 2016) run approximately 2.5 km. Races take place in this order: Atoms, Bantams, Seniors.
- Cross-country meets run rain or shine. Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather - Fort Henry is exposed and can be one of the sunniest or one of the coldest/windiest places in the Kingston Area. Packing should include running shoes, running shorts and/or pants, extra socks, t-shirt and sweatshirt, sunscreen and a hat or warm clothes and rain gear.
- Please check the LESAA website (https://lesaa.limestone.on.ca) for more details and updates, and listen to local media outlets for updates in the unlikely event of lightning or thunder.
- Students should bring their own healthy food and water to see them through a very active day.
- There will be washroom facilities on site.
Students will be travelling to and from the meet by bus. It is important that your child arrives at school on time (by 9am) so that they are on time for the bus. Students can travel to school using their usual mode of transportation since we aren’t leaving before the school day starts.
